Drs. Laura Vicente-Rodríguez and Mark W. Miller were awarded a grant of the National Science Foundation (NSF).

December 23, 2024. Drs. Laura Vicente-Rodríguez and Mark W. Miller were awarded a grant ($56k) under the Research Opportunity Awards for Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (ROA - PUI) program of the National Science Foundation (NSF). The award will support a collaborative project between the UPR Medical Sciences Campus and the UPR Cayey Campus. It provides supplemental funding for their project exploring the Neurobiology of Host Manipulation by Parasites. Congrats!
