Two Institute students attend SPINES 2015

Two Institute graduate students, Kevin De Leon and Laura Vicente Rodríguez, participated in the Summer Program in Neuroscience, Ethics, and Survival (SPINES, June 20 - July 18, 2015) at the Marine

Biological in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.  This prestigious program is an intensive one-month experience in which students are exposed to neuroscience laboratory techniques, contemporary neuroscience research, ethics and survival skills (including grant writing, teaching, public speaking, and others).  Laura and Kevin are supported by the Puerto Rico Center for Environmental Neuroscience (PRCEN) program of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Centers for Research Excellence in Science and Technology (CREST).
