The Institute hosted a three day workshop "C. elegans in the Laboratory: A Neurogenetic Approach" presented by the laboratory of Dr. Daniel Colón Ramos, Department of Cell Biology & Neuroscience, Yale University. March 19-21, 2018. The workshop was organized as part of the Modern Topics in Biology Course, UPR Department of Biology (Faculty: Drs. Valance Washington and Tugrul Giray).  Sponsored by the Puerto Rico Center for Environmental Neuroscience (NSF CREST) and the UPR Medical Sciences Campus Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMI) program.
