Institute Student Receives Prestigious Award from National Science Foundation

Jorge F. Ortíz-Carpeña was recently awarded a fellowship from the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).  Jorge was mentored by Dr. Joshua Rosenthal during the 2013-14 academic year.  He has been supported by the NSF Undergraduate Research Mentoring (URM) program in Neural Circuits and Behavior.  For more information on Jorge’s research, see  http://neuro.rcm.upr.edu/education/nsfurm/participants/2013.
